Questions
What is InnerWork?
A daily companion for your inner life. A few minutes a day to check in. Over the weeks, you start to see what’s underneath. It’s an AI-native pattern recognition tool, not an AI therapist.
Is InnerWork therapy?
InnerWork isn’t therapy. It’s a tool that makes therapy more effective, and makes the space between sessions less empty. It works best alongside the other support in your life, not instead of it. If what you’re carrying is more than a self-reflection tool can hold, please reach out to someone who can be with you right now. We mean that.
How much time does it take each day?
A check-in takes less than five minutes, with a shorter version for the days you don’t have that. There are no streaks and no pressure, so missing a day costs you nothing.
Who can see what I write?
You. Other people using InnerWork can’t see anything you write, and we never sell or share your reflections. To write your daily reads, InnerWork sends the parts of your entries that aren’t marked private to our AI provider. Answers you mark private never leave our database for that. You can export or permanently delete your data from your account at any time.
How much does it cost, and how do I get access?
InnerWork is available by invitation only and free during early access. Enter your email on this page to request an invite. It works in your browser, with nothing to download.
How is this different from a mood tracker or a journal?
A mood tracker records how you feel. A journal holds what you write. InnerWork does a short daily check-in, then looks across the weeks for patterns: what tends to come before a hard day, and what helps. It recognizes patterns. It doesn’t diagnose, and it has no streaks or badges.
What should I do if I’m in crisis?
Crisis support: If you are in immediate crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or contact a licensed mental health professional.
